In Your Dreams!

I had a meeting at work last week with a business analyst who will be doing a project for us. She's due early February, but the project runs until March 31.

"I don't think the baby will be a problem. They nap, so I can get work done then."

Uh, yeah, first baby right? I may only have three months parenting under my belt, but I can safely say that it's not quite as easy as that. She's a capable woman and I'm sure she'll be a great mom, but I have this feeling that it's not going to be as simple as she thinks it will be.

I think I'm going to build some slack into her timeline, y'know, just in case...
