The Arrival of Pillow Husband

Six months pregnant and Patty is walking the half marathon with her Mom today. I could barely drag myself out of bed this morning, so good on her! It's been awhile since the last update so I thought I'd send out another newsletter.

No news is good news they always say, and there isn't anything major to report. Jasper is now 26 weeks old and about the size of a Nerf Football, likely as squishy too. He is doing well and kicking up a storm. Patty says it's like being repeatedly punched in the stomach, but can't really describe the feeling to me. I totally understand, I can't really describe what it's like to be kicked in the nuts either. Finally a pregnancy symptom I can relate too!

Some days are better than others for Patty, but she is healthy, obviously staying fit and in good overall spirits. She's starting to find it uncomfortable to sleep, and has gotten herself a body pillow, which I quickly named "Pillow Husband" because I think it's getting more lovin' than I am. The other night Patty rolled over and PH practically pushed me out of bed - I almost beat the crap out of it! I can't believe I'm jealous of a pillow...

We are starting to accumulate stuff; high chair, crib, bassinet, strollers, laptops, change table and mentally preparing ourselves for the "Newborn Cycle" which we understand to be: wake up, crap themselves, get fed, crap themselves, sleep, repeat. Wish my life were that simple.
